I've been asked to rank my book boyfriends and I want you to know: this is the hardest thing I've ever been asked to do. Harder than writing a post-apocalyptic world. Harder than plotting a labyrinth. Harder than naming a book Meat Load with a straight face.

Kier — Savage Bonds (Shadowmist Pack) Powerful. Strategic. Respects Lithia's rank and meets her as an equal. He doesn't want to tame her — he wants to match her. A mate bond with a hero who sees you as a partner, not a prize? That's the dream. Why S-Tier: A man who's powerful enough to not be threatened by a powerful woman. Revolutionary.

🔥 TIER: Absolutely Devastating

The Stoneheart MC Presidents & Officers Every single man in the Stoneheart MC could occupy this tier individually, but I'm listing them as a collective because they share the same devastating quality: they would commit actual crimes for the women they love. Without hesitation. Without regret.

• Heart of Stone hero — Heart of Stone. The original. Trust is earned, protection is freely given.
• Hard as Stone hero — Hard as Stone. All friction. All fire.
• Cold as Stone hero — Cold as Stone. Still angry. Still in love. The most dangerous combination.
• Burned in Stone hero — Burned in Stone. Fire and fury in leather.
• Etched in Stone hero — Etched in Stone. Permanent. Indelible. Unforgettable.
• Blood & Stone hero — Blood & Stone. MC president meets sharp-tongued lawyer. He's met his match and he loves it.

Why A-Tier: The protective hero energy is off the charts. These men would burn the world down, but only if she asked.

💛 TIER: The Ones Who Sneak Up On You

The Shake-Up hero — The Shake-Up (Capricorn Cove) The quintessential grumpy hero. Scowls at everyone. Melts for her. Pretends he's not melting. Melts harder. He's the hero who doesn't say much but shows up in every way that matters. Why A-Tier: Actions over words. Always.

Josh — Just Joshing (Archer Siblings) Best friends to lovers, which means Josh has been carrying a torch the size of a small building for most of the book while pretending everything is fine. The restraint. The longing. The moment he finally cracks. Devastating. Why A-Tier: Pining heroes are a love language and Josh speaks it fluently.

❤️ TIER: Solid Gold Boyfriend Material

Nameless Souls MC heroes — Starting with Runner These men live in a post-apocalyptic hellscape and they still prioritise their women. They're rough, they're morally complicated, and they'll fight anything that moves if it threatens the people they love. The world ended. Their devotion didn't.

The Marriage Claim hero — The Marriage Claim (Reigning Hearts) A political marriage that becomes real. He starts out strategic and ends up besotted. The transformation is deeply satisfying.

Elliot Security heroes — Rough Edge and Bleeding Edge Military men. Competent. Capable. Slightly terrifying. Absolutely soft for one specific woman. The competence-is-attractive pipeline runs through this series.

💜 TIER: Comfort Boyfriends

The Dogg Pack heroes — Starting with Puppy Love These are the heroes you want to come home to. They're funny, they're warm, they probably have a dog, and they'll make you feel like the most important person in the room. Low drama. High comfort. Maximum serotonin.

The Capricorn Cove heroes (non-Shake-Up) Ten heroes across the series, and they range from grumpy to golden retriever to genuinely chaotic. But they all share one thing: when they fall, they fall completely, and they make their heroines feel seen.

• Muffin Top hero — Sweet tooth for muffins and for her.
• The Mrs. Clause hero — Fake dating king who forgot it was fake approximately two minutes in.
• Meat Load hero — The energy matches the title and I'm not sorry.

🖤 WILDCARD TIER: Morally Grey, Completely Magnetic

The Maiden hero — The Maiden (Bride Hunt) I can't rank this hero on the normal scale because he exists in a world where morality is relative and survival is the only currency. He's dark romantasy personified. Is he a good person? Debatable. Would you follow him into a labyrinth? Absolutely. And that says more about you than about him.

Kink in the Road heroes — Kink in the Road (Men of Trinity Bay) Two heroes. One heroine. Why-choose romance where both men are completely devoted and the dynamic between all three is electric. This isn't a love triangle — it's a love partnership.
